About Matt

Pastor Matt came to Parkway Place in May of 2023. Previously he has served churches in Arkansas in various positions for over 20 years. He has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, a Masters of Theological Studies from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Smith, and is currently working on his Doctorate of Educational Ministry with an emphasis in Executive Leadership from Southwestern as well.

Matt has been married to his wife Jessica since 2005, and they have two boys, Brody and Jax. He passionately preaches truth and desires to see lives transformed through the Gospel. He has a heart for solid theological understanding and biblical literacy within the church and leads from a position of humility and transparency. Pastor Matt enjoys spending time with friends and family, all things outdoors, hunting, and golf.
