What Are We Learning?

Each month we will post our Sunday morning lessons for preschool and elementary, so that you can continue the conversation at home!

Preschool May

Community helpers show up and care for the people in their community, and when preschoolers learn about community helpers, they learn who they can ask for help. And when people help us, we can say, “Hats off! Thanks for caring so much.”

We want preschoolers to know there is someone else who cares for us every day, but He doesn’t wear a hat to show us who He is. We can read story after story in the Bible where Jesus shows us that He cares for every single person—no matter who they are, what they’ve done, or where they’re from! We want every preschooler to know “How wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ” (Ephesians 3:18 NIV). Let’s pray for our preschoolers, that they will grow to love and admire Jesus more and more as we discover that Jesus cares about everyone. And join us this month as we say, “Hats off to Jesus!”

The Gospel Project is a 3-year chronological journey through the entire Bible from Genesis to Revelation. Each weekly session helps kids dive deep into the big story of the Bible—God’s plan to rescue His people through His Son, Jesus Christ. In September 2024, we started a new cycle of The Gospel Project. We are now in the New Testament! We’d love to have your kids jump in and join us!
